I enjoy spending time with my dog Riley and soon-to-be husband Justin. Together we enjoy traveling, hiking, camping, and trips to the beach! I also love listening to music, singing, and playing my guitar.
I began working as a nurse at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. I spent several years as an acute care nurse on the medical intensive care unit. While there, I began to appreciate the role of primary care medicine in preventing serious and prolonged hospitalizations. I decided to go back to school to become a primary care nurse practitioner, and graduated from University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care. Since that time, I worked in a sub-acute rehabilitation setting caring for patients who were just being discharged from the hospital. I am excited to become a part of the team at Delmarva Internal and Family Medicine where I will continue to focus on preventative care for my patients. My goal is to keep my patients home with their families where they belong!
